5 M Outfitters provides Deer hunts on both private land and public land. The license can be purchased over the counter on the private land with an Outfitter. The public land Deer hunts are by drawing (April 22). The private land Deer hunts include meals, lodging, guides, horses, and transportation while on the hunt. The hunters stay in a lodge on this hunt. The public land deer hunt is in a tent camp. 5 M has taken some very nice trophy size deer on both of these hunts. We have both low and high country for our Mule Deer hunts on the private land, 7800 to 10500 feet.

5 M Outfitters is a full service outfitter, providing all meals, lodging, guides, horses and transportation while on the hunt on Private Land and Public Land. Our guides are very good at getting the hunters where they need to be by horseback. We will then leave the horses tied and do some spotting and stalking. We have had very good success using this method. As with the Elk hunts we try to keep all the vehicles off the private land. The public land we cannot control.

The Mule deer hunts are the first two weeks of November, and the weather can be very cold with snow. Bring plenty of warm clothing and boots, if you don’t need them you can leave them at the lodge or camp. The meals will be good home cooked food.
